Yes, this is a little bit rude but if I was Father Christmas and I've had to put up with all those precocious annoying children visiting my grotto and asking for loads of stuff for the whole of December I'd probably be telling them where to go as well. It's all an act. Father Christmas is nice for the PR, he's probably a real arse if you met him down the pub.
